An Application
David intuited Jesus's teaching about love your enemies. He was hoping that someday Ishbosheth and the family of Saul would accept God's will and accept him as king, but those two guys ruined that opportunity. Sometimes making life easier comes at too high a price. On the flip side, we live in a culture where Hollywood has told us never kill anyone no matter how evil they are, which is anti-Biblical propaganda.**
